It is ultimately up to you.

• Do you know the company and/or the people who run it? 
• Have you used them before? 
• Is there public information available about what the company is doing to keep it’s customers safe? 
• Have you spoken to them or been to their website to educate yourself?  

No one wants to get sick, and we certainly don’t want our customers to get sick, but some things are beyond our ultimate control right now. If everyone is being careful then it should be no more of a risk than going to the grocery store.

Our Appliance Service Division charges an hourly rate of $65.00 plus the cost of materials used in the repair of your appliance. Any road tolls to reach your home from our office will be additional.

When we come to your home we will diagnose the problem or issue with your appliance and then consult you about the needed repairs, or if impracticable,  replacement options.

You are free to use our services, or anyone else’s, to perform the needed repairs or replacement.

You will not be charged a diagnostic service fee if you choose to have us fix or replace your appliance.

Should you choose to use another company to perform the repairs or replacement you will be charged a flat $65.00 for the cost of the visit and the diagnosis. 

We spend hundreds of hours and many thousands of dollars per year on training our people on appliance repairs. We are constantly undergoing training on new lines and models of appliances so that we may provide the very best service experience to you.

Our Computer and Networking Division personnel are very knowledgeable and up to date on the latest personal computer, notebook, and laptop hardware, as well as the various operating systems such as Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, and many flavors of Linux such as Ubuntu and Linux Mint.

Our Service Fee for computer repair is $75.00 per hour or each part thereof. A minimum one hour charge applies to any in home visit.

It depends.  If the repair costs less than 50% of a new appliance, and that appliance is less than 8 years old then please repair it. A repair is more environmentally friendly, less costly to you the homeowner, and yes, it generates business for us. 

But if your appliance costs less than $200, then it wasn’t made to be repaired. Recycle it and get a new one.

For several reasons. Replacement parts, which usually come from China, have been singled out for trade tariffs by our federal government. This accounts for about a 20% increase in our costs. A lot of the repair parts involve electronic control boards, which are expensive to make. 

Recent increases in workers compensation rates and other taxes and insurance are also having an impact on pricing, as repair companies are paying upwards of 35%-50% of their gross payroll expenses for these taxes and insurance.

Looked at your cable tv/internet bill lately? It hasn’t gone down, and probably has gone up. So why are you renting your cable modem from your cable company when you can own your own and save substantial money off your bill?

The typical cable modem rental price is $14-$16 dollars a month or about $160 per year.  For a modem that is at best a piece of junk, probably remanufactured or repaired, maybe several times before they stick you with it.

You can buy a better cable modem, for less than what you pay the cable company in a year, and get better performance & reliability. You can install it yourself or have someone (like us) install it for you. Your payback will be about a year to a year and a half.
